Disneyland E-session contest finalists

I had so many entries, and all of them were amazing, that it was very difficult to select the 4 finalists.

I felt like I knew each couple after reading their emails, so I have decided that everyone has to win–at least a little bit. The other 3 finalist “no winning couples” will receive a free engagement session. I thank everyone for entering to my contest and I am sorry that not everyone could be finalists! Lets VOTE !!! Which couple should be the winner???

And the finalists are:

Jilian & Vince from San Diego, CA
“Vince and I are both currently active duty in the US Navy, and that is where we met. On September 2007 at the Cinderella’s Castle at Disneyland Vince said: hunny…I turned around and there he was with a little black box in his hand, opened with a beautiful engagement ring inside. He asked me to marry him and with tears welling in my eyes I said –Of course. So here we are now planning our wedding for August 30, 2009 in San Diego on board the California Princess with Harbor Excursions
Heather & Luke from Simi Valley, CA
“We’ve known each other forever–literally. In fact, when my dad was a teenager he was my fiance’s mom’s first kiss!–that’s something you don’t see everyday. Luke surprised me at work (elementary school teacher) with the proposal–he had fourth graders holding up a banner that said–Will you marry me Heather? on it. We will be married on August 15, 2009″
Elyse & Christopher from Huntington Beach, CA

“My Fiance and I have been together for 3 and 1/2 years we went through a lot together including him going into the navy and not seeing each other for 8 months. It really strengthened us and made us fall so much more in love with each other.”
Janine & Chris from Laguna Nigel, CA

On our first meeting that was instant chemistry, and we spoke about our goals for marriage and family right then. At the end we held hands and prayed. For Chris, it was when we held hands that he knew there was something special there. A few more weeks and we decided to be exclusive, became serious and the rest is history.

On August 9 we took a trip to Las Vegas, and while we were getting ready for dinner, Chris called her father and asked for Janine’s hand in marriage, in her native language of Portuguese. After the father said yes or “sim”, and was still on speakerphone, Chris asked Janine to marry him, also in Portuguese, she answered yes. Janine had always wanted someone who would value their cultural differences and embrace them, and Chris had just proven that with his proposal!

Our wedding plans are in high gear, Janine’s family is flying from Brazil for the wedding and a second reception will be planned in that country.

In this world where finding the right person seems more and more difficult each day, we are very thankful God has brought us together
